Let the count down begin

2 more weeks until baby Stott #3 is going to arrive
That is May 7 for those without a calendar handy
(unless she decides to make her debut earlier- which I doubt)
Jacob and Merry have been having a debate over what color hair she will have. Jacob is pretty sure it will be dark brown like his and Merry is sure it will be pink. As for a name- that has yet to be decided, Jacob is voting for just baby.

Lost and Found

My keys disappeared a couple of weeks ago- The scary part was the last time I remember seeing them was when Merry was walking home from the mail box.  I was sure that she dropped them on the way home and some strange person had my keys.  Brian and Jacob went to Utah a couple days after my keys disappeared so I was so paranoid the whole week he was gone that some one was going to break into my house.
Any way we were working in the garden over the weekend and decided to move some pumpkins that had sprouted in our front yard where our pumpkin had started to rot into the garden in the back.   When Brian dug up the pumpkins he found my keys-  Merry had so kindly hid them in the garden.  I am so excited to finally have my keys back.

Soccer Star

Jacob at his first soccer game.
It is pretty entertaining to watch 3 year old soccer. Jacob spent most of his time finding dirt clods to throw or other random things that got left on the field. When he actually chased the ball he scored 2 goals.

Other random photos

Typical end of day look at my house-
Merry was telling Jacob that he had a little, teeny bit of dirt of his face - I guess she hadn't looked in the mirror yet
Jacob usually isn't wearing pants at the end of the day- actually it is usually by lunch
Merry posing in front of our house - my roses are starting to bloom- I love spring time
Last but not least, my 30th birthday is this week- we celebrated this weekend because Brian is taking Jacob to Utah to visit his dad this week. Brian had a smashing party for me and now I have half a cheesecake in my fridge to eat- how can life get any better than that.
Side note
I finally put together Merry's twin bed, so that we would have some where for the baby to sleep. This plan didn't work to well as Jacob decided that he would like to sleep in Merry's new bed and Merry decided she really didn't want to move from the crib yet. As I am posting Jacob is fast asleep and Merry is screaming on the top of her lungs "wake up sleepy head" to Jacob. Lucky for me he sleeps really soundly.

Blue Bonnets- 08

Due to the lack of rain the blue bonnets were in short supply this year. We finally found some in the home depot parking lot.

It has been a rough week for Merry. If you look closely you will notice that Merry has a very fat lip - she fell off of a chair and bit all the way through her bottom lip- this was after she had to have most of the hair on the left side of her head trimmed because she fell asleep with gum in her mouth.
Jacob was more interested in trying to squash an ant pile with a rock than posing in the blue bonnets.
Brian was keeping them entertained long enough for me to take some pictures, for some reason Merry looks like she has bubba teeth in this picture
Unfortunately Merry closed her eyes on the family picture that was good of me. Too bad for her I am only going to post the one that is good of me

The men in green
I only do half belly shots when I have 4 more weeks to go- If only photoshop would make my face not look so puffy. Merry was making sure her hair was properly positioned.

Easter Reposed

I had Jacob and Merry dress up in their easter finery again today so that I could take some pictures of them. On easter Merry was asleep so we didn't get any pictures.

We need to plant a tree to block out our neighbor's houses in the first picture

Merry was telling Jacob a knock knock joke- her version goes something like this- knock, knock- who's there- boo who don't cry Jacob

Merry smelling the roses part I- how cute are these tiny roses- I love them

Merry smelling the roses part II

Smelling the roses part III

This is actually on easter- Jacob was showing off his dyed eggs.

Jacob and Brian - so happy to pose for Easter photos
