More from Port A

I always forget to take pictures at the beach until we are leaving.

Jacob was so embarrassed that we laughed at him for pretending to eat his sucker that he put it in his shirt, so we laughed even more.

Summertime fun

A short stop in Three Rivers after a trip to Port A.
The lollipops only lasted a few minutes before they got dropped and broken.

Grace running with her lollipop.

This is how you entertain yourself when your mom is busy taking pictures.

More of June

I now have a really fancy garden hat to prevent me from getting anymore sunspots on my face.   It is so great I do not want to post real picture of it.
Merry went back to a bob for the summer.  It is much easier to detangle in the morning.

Jacob is five--- finally.

Jacob turned five over a week ago and I am finally getting around to putting his 5 year old pictures up.

Jacob's list of favorite things
Food: Cookies
Movie: Bolt
Color: Blue
Favorite thing to do: play Star Wars with friends
He was too busy to answer anymore questions.

Thanks for all the pictures Ashley.  I owe you big time.  Star Wars obstacle course with friends.

Jedis costumes that can be reused for shepherd costumes in a nativity play.

Concentration is essential for party games.

Nothing screams Star Wars like a Costco all american chocolate cake.  Okay so maybe I just really like this cake and could care less about a theme.  It is nothing a few Star Wars figurines can't remedy.  Luke and Darth Vader kept falling over so I had to stick them in up to their knees.

Merry's lego Star Wars space ship.

Gracie's 1 yr stats

So we finally went to Gracie's 1yr. checkup. I totally spaced the appt. I was supposed to go to last week so I had to make another. So Grace was 18lbs 2oz and 27.5in long. She still is going to have to be rear-facing for a few more months. I really do feed her. Anyway the Dr. noticed that she has a submucosal partial cleft palate. Totally random and not really a big deal, no surgery is required. It just amazes me how many things could go wrong and yet I still have 3 healthy kids.
