Jacob is five--- finally.

Jacob turned five over a week ago and I am finally getting around to putting his 5 year old pictures up.

Jacob's list of favorite things
Food: Cookies
Movie: Bolt
Color: Blue
Favorite thing to do: play Star Wars with friends
He was too busy to answer anymore questions.

Thanks for all the pictures Ashley.  I owe you big time.  Star Wars obstacle course with friends.

Jedis costumes that can be reused for shepherd costumes in a nativity play.

Concentration is essential for party games.

Nothing screams Star Wars like a Costco all american chocolate cake.  Okay so maybe I just really like this cake and could care less about a theme.  It is nothing a few Star Wars figurines can't remedy.  Luke and Darth Vader kept falling over so I had to stick them in up to their knees.

Merry's lego Star Wars space ship.

Preschool graduation

I love chubby thighs
Jacob graduated from preschool last week.
They gave a rousing end of the year performance
Merry even got to participate.

Gracie's 1 yr stats

So we finally went to Gracie's 1yr. checkup. I totally spaced the appt. I was supposed to go to last week so I had to make another. So Grace was 18lbs 2oz and 27.5in long. She still is going to have to be rear-facing for a few more months. I really do feed her. Anyway the Dr. noticed that she has a submucosal partial cleft palate. Totally random and not really a big deal, no surgery is required. It just amazes me how many things could go wrong and yet I still have 3 healthy kids.

Mother's day recap

This was a great Mother's Day. Jacob made me a lovely hand print card at school and Merry made me a plaster of paris hand print. Our first tomato was ripe, my double red Amaryllis and Vitex are in full bloom. On top of this all, I have this lovely picture of Gracie from the TDA on Saturday. I had to take a morning class so Brian brought the kids to the trade show afterwards. Gracie's dress was just a little big but she loved the new toothbrush and her fancy badge.

Happy Mother's Day

May Day

Me and the sweet kiddios on May Day.

Part of me and the sweet kiddios.
Warning do not ride on after eating a picnic lunch. I was tempted to post the pictures of me trying to get up on this thing. Luckily no other families were at the park.
I am all of a sudden feeling horribly old.
Other things of interest in the beginning of May:
Brian ate sushi - and actually enjoyed it.
Grace grew tooth #6 and is walking.
No more YW for me; lots more work for Brian.
