Adam 10 weeks

The faces of Adam at 10 weeks old.
I like the sleepy-eyed dough-boy look.

The kiddios

In an attempt to update some outdated pictures on my wall, I tried to take some pictures today.

We were going to go somewhere to take pictures, but as I was flying solo, I decided to take them in the boy's room.   Adam was really not into the whole picture thing and there was a huge shadow on the back wall.

By the time I noticed it and sort of fixed it, the only person who wanted to take pictures was Adam.
Side note: Jacob lost 2 more bottom this week.  One fell out in his sleep and we found it in the bed.  He then took it to school where they gave him a nice tooth necklace which he promptly lost.  The other he lost at the dollar tree while shopping with Brian.  The tooth fairy brought him a journal.  He was actually pretty excited about it and wrote his first entry about losing teeth.

After a few tears, Jacob decided to cooperate.

Merry loved to pose for pictures, but could only be coerced in to wearing a skirt by letting her wear Jacob's old cowboy boots.

When I asked Grace to show me her eyes this is what I got.
Adam was asleep by the time I got to him.
So I think I will reschedule.

Adam at 8 weeks

Adam weighed in at 11lbs 3oz at his 8 week appointment. (He is over half of Grace's weight at 2 years old.) I have gone into project mode again before he gets past the sleepy newborn stage at about 4 months. Pictures of projects to follow.

Grace is 2

Little Grace is now 2.
She is such a sweet girl.
She loves baby dolls and wearing tutus.
Grace is also really helpful at unloading the clean dishwasher into the sink and always being able to located Adam's pacifier (usually on her finger or by her baby doll.)
This is her in her birthday dress complete with matching doll dress.

We made her cake together, that is why we have Dr. Suessish flowers.
She walked around singing "happy to me Tacie" all day long.
We love our little Grace!

Little birdies

The little birds found a home in my rose bush on my arbor.
They are so funny, every time anything moves around them, they stick their mouths up for food.
I can totally relate to their mother (except my kids are not so stinking ugly).
Merry has now named them: Hairy Face, Pinkie, Ralph and Fluffy.

April trips

Over Easter we took a trip to see Aunt Taunie get married in St. George. You can see pictures here: http://tiffanyjanephotography.blogspot.com/2010/04/b-reception.html.
We saw lots of family and lots of snow (crazy in April).

We visited Elberta and the dairy.
Then on to St. George for the wedding and a Saturday Easter egg hunt with the Stott cousins.
Then to Payson to for Easter with the Genho cousins
And finally to Bountiful to visit Papa.

We we pulled up to my sister's non-suburban home.
Merry said: "I remember this place, they have a lamb."
I said: "Not any more, they ate it."
Jacob said: "They ate it, that is not very nice."
I said: "Look, they have pigs now."
Merry said: "mmmm, I love roasted pig."

Building a snowman at Papa's. He also introduced them to snow ice cream and we made visit to the children's museum.

Easter with Genho cousins and Papa.

Merry hunting eggs at Grandma Stott's.

Jacob hunting in the red rocks.

Grace stuck to the flower pots.

After visiting Utah, Adam and I went to visit brother Dan in Kansas. It turns out Kansas is actually pretty. Maybe it was just because it was spring, we will have to take a trip in the summer to make the final judgement.
