Brian's birthday

For Brian's birthday we had some friends and family over to cook some of the abundance of fish we have in our freezer.

Per Merry's request we made a Luigi cake for Brian's actual birthday. Shortly after this picture Grace poked some nose holes in his nose.

Uncle Dan was here just before Brian's b-day but he had to move to Kansas so he didn't get to take part in the festivities. Papa was here too but he didn't pose for any pictures.

Little Elias and family were here for the party. Our kids were excited to get to know their eastern cousins.

Pretty Ava was here too. Nathan, John and Lynnie were too fast for pictures.

A rare event

A picture that has all 3 of my kids looking forward.
It almost happened again
and again
This is not a rare event. Merry has a bizarre sense of style. It is an old navy bag she has crafted into a lovely romper. I also love the one bow. This is pretty typical of her outfit choices.

Merry is 4

For Merry's 4th birthday we went to the build and grow workshop at Lowe's where she made a coin bank then she went to the All-american high school football game with her dad.

Merry ask to build a doll house for Grace's mamies (dolls) for her birthday. We finished the frame and have to put the shelves up and paint.



Merry requested a cake with butterflies, flowers and hearts on it.

After opening presents and eating cake, Merry tried out her new art supplies.
All in all Merry thought it was a great birthday.
