Happy Graduation

 Grace graduated from preschool.
Her and her preschool cronies waiting for the commencement activities to begin.
Skipping up the aisle to deliver her flower to the basket.
They sang "Florida Alphabet"- each letter has an item in Florida to represent it.  My favorite line is na-na-Naples where the old folks go.
Madi, Grace and Morgan.
Ms. Kathy her teacher.
Grace and her momma.
I can't believe she is ready to start kindergarten this year.

The close of baseball

Tournament day at the San Ann fields.
How exciting is this.  I notice baseball is a lot of standing around.
Good job team.
Showing off the hardware.
Jacob and Cole.
Our ragamuffins after watching a double header.
Eliza loves baseball, you can tell from her expression.

Eliza in May

Stop staring at me giraffe.
We tie-dyed t-shirts for family night a couple of weeks ago.  Eliza got a tie-dyed onsie.
 I love tie-dye
and fluffy hair.

Happy Mother's day

Merry's rendition of me.  Totally can see the resemblance
Here is what I asked for for Mother's day, a load of dirt.
To go with the load of daylilies my dad gave me for my birthday.

Revenge of the tooth fairy

Adam fell and hit his front tooth on a bookshelf at preschool a couple of weeks ago.
It was a little dark but did not need to be extracted.  Then he fell in the shower and hit the bench and the tooth was totally loose.  I was worried that I was going to have to take it out.
We went to church on Sunday morning and I thought I will take him to the office after Brian gets home so he can help me extract the tooth.  Adam beat me to the punch and extracted the tooth himself.
The tooth fairy finally came a week later and brought a pea dispenser and a raccoon figurine.
Both of which made the list to sleep with him that night.
I am going back and forth whether or not I should bond a temporary bridge.
I am pretty sure with how active he is he will knock it out again.
We have to look on the bright side and think of all the Halloween costumes that are possible with a missing tooth.

Happy Birthday Dear Grace

I can hardly believe Grace is five.
She requested a Belle cake even though she is not quite sure who Belle is she just knew she wore a yellow dress.
Maybe I should get the movie mainly for Gaston's song.
Brian hung a new swing in the tree for her birthday.
Checking the Boy Scout website to make sure he tied the knots correctly.
Good job Brian, look at happy Grace
and happy Merry.

Happy life pictures

Our first pets, 5 baby chicks, one for each child.
Happily named Moo Toe (Adam), Lady Peep Peep (Eliza), Fluffy (Merry), Feather Rose (Grace) and Jacob opted to wait and name his baby chick.
Jacob's chick must have taken offense to the no name because we found it laying with its wings splayed out in the crate.  I had 4 very unhappy kids hovering over the chicken crate.  Adam announced "It's donna det dead."  Which I interpreted to mean the chick is going to die.  I think they expected me to fix the broken chick, so I picked it up and cupped it in my hand and patted it on its little chicken back.  The chick promptly puked all over the floor.  I put the chick back in the crate and it limped around feeling sorry for itself, by the next day it was back to normal.  The chick was then name Lazareth, hopefully it is a rooster.
Adam adores entertaining Eliza.

I think he is singing Eliza the Reduce, Re-use, Re-cycle song.  It is never too early to start learning about carbon footprints.
Sweet Eliza finds him very amusing.
You mean disposable diapers are killing baby Pandas?
Eliza, ready to go for the day.
