A few pictures from Dec. part 1

December seemed to fly by. With the all the business of moving it seems we missed out on the whole season.
The kids acted out the Nativity on Christmas Eve. Jacob was Joseph (I didn't know he had strawberry soda stains on his undershirt), Merry was Mary and Grace was the angel. Adam was a very fast shepherd who would not stay by his sheep.
Adam liked to shake the presents.
Our sadly decorated tree. I only got out about a quarter of the ornaments because of the impending move.
Brother Dan came one weekend and we made tons of tamales and drank a lot of DDP.

Adam is 9 months and an official count down

Adam is now 9 months old and lots of fun.
His hobbies include chasing his train, drooling, eating lots and lots of paper (Christmas is going to be awesome) and biting pretty much everything he can get near his 7 chompers.
Showing off his crooked smile
Giving the train the evil eye, because he knows it about to escape.
The great chase.
Victory at last.

We have also started a count down of 17 days. I know you are a bit confused because Christmas is only 15 days away. Yes, we do have a countdown until Christmas, but it is 17 days until we pack our bags and head to the Sunshine State. My brain is still trying to figure out this whole moving thing out. We will be well stock with sugar and lots of DDP so I can cope.

FYI - Do not set small items on top of the dryer because you may when trying to empty the lint screen knock a random item into hole the screen comes out of. You may only be aware of this because you hear something thump at the bottom of the dryer. Then you may get a wire hanger and poke around in there and sure enough there will be a mystery item down there. You will secretly hope that it is your long lost pink phone that disappeared a few weeks ago but when you open up the back of the dryer and the lint shoot then you will be sadly disappointed when you only find a bleach pen. Then you noticed the massive amount of lint in the back of your 10 year old dryer and vacuum it out feeling sure that it was a fire hazard and that your house would have caught on fire if you had started the dryer just one more time and that it was fortuitous that the bleach pen even fell in the first place. That might just happen.
