Thanksgiving-warning lots of blurry pictures

We had a quiet Thanksgiving at home this year with just our little family. Usually we host a big crowd, so this was a nice change.
Merry decided to carve the turkey with a butter knife.
A blurry self-timer shot of everyone.
Jacob, the silly band model, showing what he liked best- unfortunately I didn't get that in the picture.
Brian, cinematographer, document the whole event. Something to torture our kids with later.
Grace, Grace and her lovely dinner. I think she just drank orange soda and ate cranberry sauce.
Adam drank his sweet potatoes through a straw-- delicious.
After dinner relaxing.
Over the weekend we painted the inside of the playhouse. This is after the painting. I really don't know know what the big secret was.
Love these two together.
Cute little worker.
What you are taking my picture?
And finally me on Thanksgiving- glad that Brian did the dishes.

Some favorites from our recent family pictures

These are the pictures that will not make the Christmas card.

Love, love this picture of Grace.

Nice teeth.

Love, love this of Merry.
I can see Adam is really trying to get off of the ground. Gravity is keeping the man down.
Cats always seem to show up at our photo shoots. They even made our Christmas card 2 years ago. Grace is terrified of any animals, I do not think you could have pried her hand out of Jacob's. This is typical Merry, having an asthma attack after jumping around. I have no idea what the peace sign is about.

A Fall Expedition

We went to the field to play tonight. I am not really sure why Merry needed an umbrella, I guess it is a must on an expedition.

This button is here because, in an effort to take more pictures of my offspring, I have to have some sort of motivation. This website has weekly challenges, this week is silohuette. I could have just dug some pictures out of my archives, but that would defeat the purpose of the excercise and we needed an excuse to take an expedition.

A day in my life

This morning I served the breakfast of champions. For some reason Grace eats all the way around the edge of the donut first.
Adam is now 8 months old. He has developed a love of swings and biting things with his six chompers.

The rest of the force

Nothing says Halloween like a grown man dressed as a Jedi. Thanks for growing a beard Obi-Wan.
Small Yoda or Shrek. Who can know for sure?
