Lake Stockton

 We took a trip to Missouri to see the Caballeros and the Stantons.

It is quite the crew even with only 3 families present.

 2010-2011 model, Adam was sure that he was much older than these Becca and Luke.

We had to add Maddy in with this group because there were no cousins her age.

Happy 4th of July

The 4th of July, we convinced everyone to come outside to take pictures.

You can see that they were all happy about that.

I am not sure what is going on in this picture.

 The 4th of July cake.

 It was a little overcast so only the girls and I went out to swim in the lake.

 One of the lizard eggs finally hatched.

 The girls found a turtle down by the boat house.

 It cleared up a little in the evening and we lit fireworks over the lake.

Tubing Rainbow River

 We took a trip to Rainbow River to ride the tubes down the river.

 The spring water is so clear, the kids spent the whole time snorkeling.

Except Jacob, who pretty much stated in this same position the whole way down the river.

We saw one fat alligator, lots of anhingas diving, lots of fish, baby ducks and a giant behive.

We only lost one pair of sunglasses.

Not sure what this face is about.

I love the cypress knees.

Apparently this is not a good way to pose, we fell out of the tubes trying to take a selfie.

I am not sure why Adam is licking the tube.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to the best dad around.

Sweet 16

 Happy sixteenth birthday dear Jacob.

He dreads the birthday pictures every year.

There is no smiling with teeth anymore.

This is about as close to a smile as I get.

It is hard to believe he will be driving on his own.

Mother's Day

As we are still home churching, the Sunday apparel is slightly sloppy.

Eliza and Grace spent the day making crafts for me, including a rock covered mug.

The other kids tried to be nice all day.
