June evening

Playing in the yard on a June evening once all the sports practices ended for the summer.
Brian and Adam threw the baseball around.
Eliza showed us all her tricks.
 On the trampoline too.
Merry giving Eliza a little bounce.
Jacob trying to block us all out.
He finally gave in a spun Eliza around.
 Merry practiced her volleyball.
Grace and I played soccer in the yard.
Fun summer evening.

Eliza's dance recital

It's that time of year- dance recital time- I think this might be Eliza's first and last recital because she has not really loved it that much.
But she sure looked cute in her little sailor outfit.
She danced to Come on Let me Take You on a Sea Cruise and she was as sassy as she looks in this picture.
 Sassy Eliza.
Showing off her dance moves.
Luckily one of her friends, Nora, was in the same dance- just a different day - to make the rehearsal day bearable.

End of year summary for Grace

Grace had a great 4th grade year.
She had Ms. Townley again as her teacher.
The fifth year Ms. Townley has taught one of my kids.
She had a great group of friends in her class, Gracie, Angelina and Kari.

Her last soccer tournament was the weekend school got out.

We spent memorial day watching her play in the semifinals and finals.

8th grade grad

 The 8th grade graduate.
Looking good in a suit.
Luckily one of his friends has a last name next to his so he has someone to talk to.
Dad, Mom and the graduate.
Some friends from graduation.
Headed to the 8th grade dance.
 Mom and Jacob.
Friends headed to the dance.
More friends at the dance.
Finally, Jacob dressed as Rick Astley for 8th grade spirit week.
So proud of him and all his hard work, he will almost have a year of high school done before he even starts high school.

NASA with the small kids

Grace's class had a field trip to NASA so Adam and Eliza tagged along.
This is the day that Adam discovered he is taller than Grace.
 My small astronauts.
Posing with their classmates.
A very impressive lego mars rover.
It is so hard to image how incredibly large the rockets are until you see them.
Torturing the small kids with another picture, fortunately I had bribed them with ice cream.

Adam discovered the deliciousness of swirl ice cream.
 Grace loves chocolate.
Eliza with the messy hair is a vanilla gal.

Adam end of 2nd grade

Adam at his walk of stars.  Mrs. Felts gave him the bookworm award because this boy loves to read.
His favorite this year was Harry Potter.
He said he wanted to be a policeman because he is really good at shooting nerf guns.
So proud of this super smart boy.
He also got to visit the fire station with scouts that same night.
Now it is a toss up between police and fireman.
