Picking Strawberries

On Saturday we went to pick strawberries with the whole family.
Grace and Adam comparing their lack of strawberries with each other.
Brian and Eliza in the fields
 Sweet Eliza with her berries.
Grace racing to all the good berries.
Jacob the master berry picker, too bad he doesn't even like them.
Merry was the prolific picker, she won the berry picking contest.

Adam wanted to try the camera so I let him take pictures of me.
Relaxing in the shade.

Jacob photo bombing the shots.
Afterwards we made a couple batches of strawberry jam before Adam and Grace downed all the strawberries.

St. Patrick's day

Happy St. Patrick's Day.

St. Patrick's Day was the 1st day of the kid's spring break,
so we headed to the park with some friends from school.
Jacob found his first rock from rock painting group, so we had to get some rocks to paint and hide.
 Adam posing.
Eliza was in heaven because 2 of Grace's friends from school were willing to sit and push her on the swing.
Grace all wrapped up.
Merry in the sky.
A great start to spring break.

Spring evening

It is amazing how entertaining a bubble gun can be.
Until Eliza steals the gun and dumps out the bubble soap.
The kids taking up the trash in the wagon.
Even better then a bubble gun is an empty box.
Until Jacob stills your foam sword.

Adam plays baseball

Happy baseball season or unhappy baseball season.  I have been trying to get him to switch to soccer for a couple of years with no success.  So it is different field and cities for sports every night.  Adam played catcher for the 1st time last night.
I particularly like his skills at stopping the ball with his head.
This happy face is what makes all the running around worth it.
 Up to bat.
The coaches gave him the game ball for a nice hit down the 3rd base line.
