Why the laundry is never done.

Every evening in spring we must pick the blackberries.
Then we must eat the blackberries.
Yummy!!
Eliza must be supervised while picking the blackberries because she likes to pick the green and red berries too.
Eliza must be fed some blackberries.
Yummy!!

Then we have to check on the monarch caterpillars on our milkweed and discuss if there is enough milkweed for all the caterpillars to eat.

A turtle was found so the whole crew had to check to make sure the turtle had a home.
I would probably stay in my shell if I saw all these kids coming.
More random pictures have to be taken.

And more pictures
Still even more.
And the turtle is still in his shell.
Good night turtle.
Happy berry season.

Universal Studios

Brian's work has a family play day at Universal Studio.  We decided to stay overnight so we would actually make it into the park before lunch time.  This is at the hotel as we were leaving because I didn't tote my camera around all day.  We ended up not staying at the park all day because the kids only wanted to swim in the swimming pool.

The view of our little yellow house coming home.
Adam lost his other front tooth just before we left courtesy of Grace's foot.  The tooth was dead already so I don't think that it would have held on that much longer anyway.  The tooth fairy brought him a Curious George book.

 Me and my handsome boys.

My pretty girls.
How I view Eliza.  Her favorite word is shoes.  She walks around saying shoe, shoes all day long.
She had also learned to say Dad and gets so excited that he looks at her when she calls for him.

Mother Son date

We went to the mother/ son event at the elementary school tonight.
There was dancing there, but none of the boys were dancing.
Instead an impromptu soccer game was started on the field.
Making horse snot (it was a western themed event, you just can't see my pink boots) out of school glue and borax was also very popular.
Jacob prefueling for the event with some nutritious gummy bears.

A visit to the Fam-Damily

Over the weekend we went to see our new nephew be blessed.
He has nice squishy lips.
 David, Porter and Papa.
Porter and Papa.
Some of the cousins after church.
Eliza did not quite make it into the cousin picture as she was already buckled in her seat.
After the blessing we headed to the rodeo grounds.
Eliza checking out Papa's eyebrows.
To eat some ribs.  Which happen to be Eliza's favorite food.
We also met cousin Bryce for the first time.  He is wondering why on earth I would let my child sit in the dirt with no clothes on and eat ribs.  Poor fifth child.
Ewww Mom, don't make me sit next to the rib girl.
Finally they bonded over a bag of popcorn.
Some of the men cousins.
All of the women cousins.  My girls look awesome!  I think Eliza is eating dirt.
Uncle Sir taking the kids for a ride.
Grace, Mason, Adam
I am glad I got the beef sign in the background.  Isaac, David and Jennings waiting on some ribs.
I can't tell if Mason is laughing or crying.
Random picture of the kids playing at the guest house.
Then at the park.
A few more pictures of baby Porter because he is so cute.
Papa and Porter.

Let me see, I predict some ribs in my future.
All bundled up. A fun time was had by all, especially Porter who slept through 90% of the weekend.

Pre St. Patty's Day

Church the day before St. Patty's day.
Brian took Jacob and Adam to get hair cut's the day before.
The lady who cut Jacob hair did a great job, the lady who cut Adam's had no idea what she was doing.
So Adam ended up with a buzz.
He loves rubbing his fuzzy hair now.
I think most of his calories come from string cheese.
Poor Grace has been suffering from the oak allergies, her eyes have been so swollen and itchy even with Zyrtec and eye drops.
Hopefully the oak stops blooming soon
Jacob being with part of Merry.
Jacob and Harbor
Pretty Merry.
Can you see what happened next?
