Memories I like.

Eliza week 2.
Cute little toes.
Adam is obsessed with them as much as I am.  He counts them and then says "this one is big and the rest are teeny tiny"(in a squeaky voice).
Check out how tiny her legs are in the newborn onesie.
A big yawn.  I think her hair is growing not falling out.
Grace is so in love with her.  She loves to give her bottles and lay down by her and look at her.

A posey-posed one for the posey-posed people.   How squishy is she?

Back to sewing again

Something about having a new baby makes me want to start sewing again.
Since a shop hop starts tomorrow for the local quilting shops, I had better use the fabric I got at a shop hop a couple of years ago.
I figured if I started now I could finish 3 Easter dresses.
There is a website called Project Run and Play that has inspiration for sewing and great tutorials.
This is a version of one of their crafty's dress pattern.

The whole dress, maybe I will make a little dress jacket in green Kona cotton to go over it, short sleeved for our warm weather.
I added some details to the bodice.
Some of the details.  Pintuckage and micro pleats, 2-lip sleeves, a random button Grace picked out (I bet you can't tell which button).
Grace's crazy dance moves.
How is this possible that she did not fall down?

The rest of the hospital stay

Dec. 26th:  6 days old. Chillaxin, listening to some tunes. Ears checked out
Dec. 28th: 8 days old.  Waiting to be checked out.
Look what I can do with my lips
All dressed ready to go home.
Finally home at 8 days.  It was truly amazing she responded so well, we were expecting a longer stay.
Grace has been so excited to hold and feed the baby.
Grandma Stott and the girls.

Miss Eliza meets the family

The kids finally visited miss Eliza today.

Merry and Eliza

Grace and Eliza.
Adam lasted about 2 minutes in the room and then Brian took him to the cafeteria and bought him a brownie. Jacob was too busy playing games to pose for a picture.
