Grace with her little flower pot

I am so confused why my mom would ever put me in a flower pot.

Grace with her flower pot at 1 year. The bouncy balls were the only way we could keep her by her pot. She was pretty excited about them as you can tell by the second picture.

Ideas?

Since Grace is year old tomorrow, I need ideas for posing her with her flower pot I put her in as a baby. Her other front tooth is finally growing, I love her crooked smile.

Parade and Prebirthday bash

Jacob and Merry's little preschool had a fiesta parade. Our float was sort of sad so we had a band instead.

We also had a prebirthday bash for Gracie this weekend. We made a giant cupcake cake to celebrate.

Gracie was rather confused,

but she warmed up once we gave her a piece of cake.

Easter egg hunters

Jacob carefully stepped around my flower to retrieve an egg from the yarrow plant. I am really liking the tan socks with shorts look.
If you look closely, Merry has a bloody nose. Jacob and her collided in the excitement prior to the egg hunt.
Gracie found one egg then happily sucked on the candy inside. After the eggs were brought inside she looted the other hunters baskets.

Lest you thought I forgot sweet baby Grace

Grace in the Indian paintbrush. Can you believe she is going to be 1 at the end of the month? I can hardly believe it myself
