Nothing says happy birthday like a flame thrower.
Or watching soccer games.
While outside taking pictures of Brian, I could not help but notice that all the kids knees looked like this. Actually, most days they look like this.
Then I noticed Adam looking in a tunnel in the brush.
It seems that Harbor the dog made a nice tunnel so he could chase the kittens around in the brush.
Side story on Harbor- we took him to the vet and he had a microchip but the owner's # had been changed. So I had to Facebook stalk the guy who previously owned the dog. I could tell it was him because he had an album dedicated to this dog whose previous name was Schmitty (we had to stick with Harbor because Adam has a lisp and Schmitty and a lisp do not mix).
Any who the guy was in the military and must have got rid of the dog when he got deployed. Grace is sure that he is a great guard dog because he used to belong to a knight (some people get knight and soldier mixed up). The guy never answered my Facebook message so I guess Harbor ne'e Schmitty is here to stay.
All of the kids were climbing down the tunnel into the brush.
This is what is at the end of the tunnel. A small glade of saplings- how awesome.
And some vines to pull on.
I am sure you were wondering if I climbed down the tunnel too. I thought about it, then realized I would not fit, so I walk around to the backside through the blackberry briars.
All of the crazies.
Now you understand why bath time is at night.
